The Laboratories of WMT&R are organized into seven advanced groups:
Mechanical Testing Laboratory;
Stress Rupture and
Creep Testing Laboratory;
Fracture Mechanics Laboratory;
Physical Metallurgical Laboratory;
Fatigue Testing Laboratory;
Chemical/Analytical Laboratory; and
the Machine Shop. In addition to standard testing at
temperatures ranging from Liquid Helium to over 2200°F, WMT&R has the proven ability and resources
to custom design tests for special applications such as finished parts, odd
shapes, and exotic materials.
WMT&R's Dedicated and enthusiastic staff provides
you with a large pool of talent to draw upon for the toughest of test. At
your service is an Engineering and Technical support group whose academic
credentials include two PhD's in Metallurgy, a PhD in Chemistry; M.S.
Metallurgical Engineering, M.S. Systems Engineering, M.S. Analytical
Chemistry; plus a wide range of under-graduate degrees in Physics,
Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, Material Science, etc.
